I just wrote about all the amazing nurses I deal with when hospitalized with multiple sclerosis and all that stuff they have to deal with inside the hospital. They are so amazing! This literally brought me to tears! Ok bawling my eyes out right now because people don’t realize the hell they go through! I have at least one or two confide in me every time I go in. Bless them and bless all the frontliners! ❤❤ God bless all of us going through hell in the hospital as well! This video was well done, and this song is amazing !

@@DakotaReign0497oh my god MS is so shit, my mom has it and when she went to get it diagnosed they told her it was just a ear ache or something then a few months later I think the NHS nurses actually realised it was MS, the NHS has helped my family so much with my nana always going into hospital they’re heroes to this country they deserve more pay

As a nurse of 38 years I can confidently say that you captured the very heart of the nurse. I left nursing 5 years ago after walking into my boss's office and telling her that I was suicidal. I couldn't handle the pain of seeing patients robbed of care they needed because the corporate environment cared more about speed than about quality care. I would still do it all over again. I loved it. I loved my patients and the lives I was blessed to be a part of. Thank you for your powerful and raw heart that shows in this video. I salute you.

This is the exact reason I left. I was ER/ICU and dialysis for 15 years as a nurse, having started at 15 years old in the ER as a volunteer. Healthcare PTSD is so real! I’ve since become a chef and even though I took a pay cut, I have ZERO regrets! Thank you for your bravery, and willingness to stand up to corporate greed who hide behind a “business model”

As an oncology nurse, this made me ugly sob in a ball in the corner. I have cried on my bathroom floor over a patient I lost and cried happy tears with a different patient as they ring the bell after finishing chemo in the same day. Nursing is one of the hardest yet most rewarding careers and this is such a beautiful portrayal of both the darkest and most joyful moments we go through. Thank you for this

I've been a nurse for 29 years. I've worked ER/Trauma, ICU, etc. I've seen people at their best and at their worst. Going through sh*t that no one should have to. Sometimes giving so much of myself to others that all you can do is go home, collapse, cry, and then do it again the next day. And the next day, you may have a fantastic day where you see life start, or you see someone saved that really had no business living though what they went through. I've seen the resilience of humans. Both patients and care givers. Thank you so much for this song and video. Luv ya!!

Seven years ago my mom was paralyzed from the neck down by her boyfriend when she was only 45. She lived another two years after that. The nurses in the ICU and nursing home let me stay past visiting hours. They used their own phones to facetime me. Painted her nails. Brushed and braided her hair. They kept her company and gave her back a little humanity. I feel so grateful for nurses and all they do. Thank you.

As a nurse I cannot put into words how incredibly important music is as a coping mechanism for both staff and patients. Doms music got me through some of the toughest shifts and helped me cope with the trauma we see on a daily basis. To all those working in healthcare… we’ve got this. The last time I spent with my father was sitting in the hospital room with him hours after he passed. It wasnt easy and the hospital wasnt the greatest but knowing people like you exist heals part of me that breaks thinking about it. Thank you for going above and beyond. I’m a healthcare worker and this really depicts the pain and attachment we can feel towards our patients. It’s one of the hardest careers people with empathy can be in. It’s painful loving so hard, and draining. But we do it because we can’t keep ourselves from wanting to help others.

Sitting here bawling my eyes out watching this after 8 shifts in a row in the ICU. These past shifts I was caring for a young donor patient and then another in end stage heart failure/kidney failure. This captured all of the emotions I've felt in these shifts. It's beautiful 💕

This is such a beautiful song and the fact that nurses sacrifice themselves for other people in which they lose a sense of who they really are, and it’s so hard for them to process all these emotions with their patience whether they lose someone and then they get another patient it’s a lot. I can’t even imagine how to process what the nurses in first responders process into Youngblood oh my God, I am such a fan of you everything you do all your music your voice so freaking beautiful and I’m so looking forward to your album and don’t ever lose sense of who you are. My aunt was a nurse, she treated mostly kids. After years of working she became mentally unstable because of the horror she had to witness and the sorrow of losing her tiny patients. She passed away 4 years ago after losing herself in all her memories. But one thing I know, and it's that she was an angel sent by God. She was the last person those kids saw and interacted with. A Lovely lady with a sweet voice telling them that "everything would be ok". She always tried her best to make them feel at ease before their last moments. My aunt was a hero and angel and I'm proud of her.

Carer here, its been a bad week, ive lost 4 of my beautiful elderly ladies. 2 were expected, 2 were not. Ive been numb all week. When you care for the elderly, you end up having multiple adopted grandparents and all the love and laughter that goes with them. I was a med/surg floor nurse for 9 years. They never warned you in nursing school that you only had 30 seconds between rooms... 30 seconds to celebrate a small win with a patient... 30 seconds to compose yourself after just telling some one that you and your team did everything you could for their loved one but it just wasn't enough...30 seconds to recollect your thoughts after being attacked or assaulted (verbally or physically) by a patient... the list goes on. But in those 30 seconds, while moving from patient room to patient room, working up that smile as though everything is okay that you truly learn who you are! Just please understand the emotional and mental strain on nurses is unreal! I cannot tell you the amount of times I have been that nurse in that tub crying and screaming at the top of my lungs because I had no more left to give... I was a shell... a zombie if you will. Absolutely love the song and the video resonates with me more than you can understand. Thank you!

Just in case you're not hearing it enough... Thank you for everything that you do. Nurses get washed so hard (LONG hours, pouring out your cup) and not everyone is able to give gratitude when they need you. Some nurses get grim or mean. It's a brutal reality. Those that give and give and see so much pain eventually have to build a wall to just... keep standing. Thank you for all of the time you've put in to caring for other people. I hope your home is full of love.

I've spent many of my 58 years of life working the floors of hospitals and SICUs, and you've shown what most never see- nurses breaking down and losing their shit because they love their patients and it's HARD. But you've also shown through the words of your music what it feels like to go through life in pain and to feel worthless and ugly because of it. Mental pain or physical pain- it matters not. It twists us up and makes us feel worthless and ugly. I watched this alone in the dark in the middle of the night for the first time and ugly cried my heart out. I am a zombie. And I am now a fan. LOVE this song and video. Edited to add- I don't know who who shot and edited this video, but it's truly beautiful and probably the best piece of short film I've seen in a very long time. And the shot at the end of Florence in front of the vending machine, standing in its light, just after she turns and sees her wings- my god she's beautiful in that shot. That moment with her face is magic.

I lost my mother two and a half weeks ago. She was a dedicated nurse on the palliative care ward, and so her death hit the nursing staff at the hospice very hard. I have much respect for all of them❣️

I’ve spent the past 1-2 years absolutely resenting the type of person nursing has turned me into. I’m exhausted at all times from being on nights for the past 5 years, learned to shut down emotions when I see people suffering or in body bags, and the only people who understand are other nurses. Especially those who worked through Covid. I’m working on healing and finding my passion again but seeing this and seeing myself in her is really just letting me feel empathy for myself after burning out and using it all up on other people to the point where I don’t have any for myself. Thank you thank you thank you for bringing what we go through into light and showing the reality of how much this job impacts us. I haven’t ever seen it done this well yet

This hits hard for me. I’ve been a RN for years and I’ve seen it, heard it, smelled it, felt it. My heart can be overjoyed and broken in the same 12 hour shift. Most nurses give their all and forget about themselves because we just have nothing left to give. We are the peacekeepers, the hand holders, the advocates, and sometimes the only family for our patients. We see them at their worst and sometimes, if we are very lucky, we can see them at their best. Thank you for this video! ❤

My best friend is a pediatric cardiac ICU nurse. Watching this video made me sob, knowing the pain she sees and endures every day taking care of sick children. Brought me to tears. Incredible. @yungblud My father passed in August. He’d been in the hospital often over 2yrs, and his nurses inspired him to write poetry again. They were his angels, and lifted his spirits. One made him a pot of paper flowers and gave him a lovely rose - he was so touched that he cried. Several of them came to his memorial. You honoring nurses in such a way reminds me of my Father’s kind heart. I already knew you have one even as a young man. Florence deserves an award for her portrayal. @yungblud, you deserve all the love and care you give and receive, back tenfold.

This is my first time listening to the full song and a yungblud song in general…tears are streaming down my face. I lost my dad to cancer recently and I appreciate all the nurses who took care of him💔 One in general stands out when my dad was in the ER..after being there for hours and I finally had to go home..he stopped me on the way out and put his hand on my should and said with the most sincere look and voice “I’m sorry kid” and it just made me bawl and meant so much😢

I will forever be grateful to the nurses who were there for my husband during his brain cancer surgery. From surgical, to ICU, to different levels of card, to discharge. Even with my kiddo recently; he had to have surgery for something, and just the empathy and care they had for my kiddo was.... beyond grateful. All of it; they are beyond amazing, and to this day, they hold a special place in my heart.

This song is everything! Brings me so much emotion. I’m a nurse and My Daughter Indie Violet was diagnosed with Leukemia at 8 years old. She’s a die hard Yungblud fan. When she was in hospital having chemo Dom FaceTimed her while he was in Boston. I also took her to his concert in that pub in Donny.. best day of my life seeing my Chd belt his songs out. She was so ill 🥲 but she sang and danced all night. She’s 11 now and rang the bell in December last year. It brings tears to my eyes how beautiful this song is to me.
